The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has updated its official awareness platform as part of preparations for the 2026 Hajj exercise.

The Ministry, which oversees the facilitation of Hajj, Umrah, and other religious visits for pilgrims worldwide, confirmed that the upgrade was completed on December 25, 2025.

The updated platform now integrates both text-based and visual content to enhance pilgrim education and compliance. The materials cover a wide range of topics, including cyber awareness, legal obligations, financial guidance, and health information for pilgrims.

Additional guides address key rites and locations of Hajj, such as Al-Jamarat, the Day of Sacrifice, Muzdalifah, the Day of Arafah, Mina, and the rules of Ihram. The platform also provides informational guides on landmarks in Makkah and Madinah, as well as services available at the Prophet’s Mosque.

According to the Ministry, the update aligns with its broader strategy to improve service delivery and operational efficiency. The initiative is also in line with leadership directives to provide services in a manner that is simple, fast, and convenient for beneficiaries.

The Ministry noted that the deployment of electronic services through its official portal and smart devices is designed to streamline official transactions and ensure pilgrims can easily access essential information throughout their journey.
