Saudi Arabia has finalised preparations for the sixth edition of its Hajj Conference and Exhibition, scheduled to hold from November 8 to 11, 2026, in Jeddah, as the Kingdom intensifies efforts to strengthen international cooperation and improve pilgrimage services ahead of the 2027 Hajj.
The four-day event will take place under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, according to the October 2026 newsletter of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
The conference and exhibition will bring Hajj stakeholders together to discuss industry developments, exchange knowledge and explore partnerships to improve pilgrimage administration and service delivery.
The event also comes at a critical period when countries, including Nigeria, are preparing for the 2027 pilgrimage and addressing operational requirements for their intending pilgrims.
Saudi Arabia has increasingly positioned the annual gathering as an avenue for bringing together international Hajj authorities, service providers, technology companies and other stakeholders to explore solutions to challenges associated with managing the annual pilgrimage.

For Nigeria, the conference presents an opportunity for relevant authorities and private-sector operators to engage with Saudi institutions, examine emerging service delivery innovations and strengthen partnerships that could improve pilgrims’ experiences.
Hajj Gazette had, in September, published a report titled “Why the 6th Hajj Conference Matters for Nigeria’s 2027 Pilgrimage,” examining the potential significance of the gathering for Nigeria’s Hajj administration, service providers and intending pilgrims.
The report highlighted the importance of the conference as a platform for Nigeria to strengthen its engagement with Saudi authorities and explore developments that could influence the organisation and delivery of the 2027 Hajj.
The sixth edition follows previous conferences aimed at advancing Hajj services through innovation, institutional cooperation and improved coordination among stakeholders.
The November gathering is expected to attract attention from international Hajj authorities and industry players as preparations for the 1448 AH pilgrimage gather momentum.
