Flynas Airlines Visits Kaduna Pilgrims’ Agency Ahead of 2026 Hajj Operations

A delegation from Flynas Airlines on Monday, paid a courtesy visit to the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency (KSPWA) as part of preparations for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
The airline, allocated to Kaduna State by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to airlift pilgrims to Saudi Arabia, undertook the visit to assess the agency’s readiness and strengthen collaboration ahead of the pilgrimage.
Ibrahim Datti Makarfi, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of KSPWA, disclosed in a statement that the delegation was led by Mr. Ashraf Al-Ubaid, Head of Hajj and Umrah at Flynas, from Jeddah.
Al-Ubaid was accompanied by Mr. Ahmad Ruma, the airline’s Nigerian Coordinator, and Hajiya Maryam Yunusa, Head of the Nigerian Crew.
According to Makarfi, the Flynas team was received by Malam Salihu Abubakar, Chairman of KSPWA, alongside the Administrative Secretary, Malam Baba Rufa’i, Head of Operations, Abubakar Usman Yusuf, and other management officials.
During the visit, key facilities were inspected, including the Kaduna State International Airport, the Pilgrims Transit Camp at Mando, and the KSPWA headquarters along Katsina Road, Kaduna.
Speaking during the visit, the Flynas delegation assured the agency of a smooth and hitch-free Hajj operation. They emphasized the importance of sustained cooperation to ensure seamless airlift arrangements and the welfare of Kaduna State pilgrims.
Malam Salihu Abubakar expressed gratitude to Flynas Airlines, noting that such engagements enhance planning and coordination for a successful pilgrimage.
The PRO further stated that the visit demonstrates the agency’s commitment to ensuring a safe and well-organized Hajj season for all pilgrims from Kaduna State.
