Preparations to receive Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al‑Rabbiah, scheduled to visit Nigeria tomorrow, February 3, 2026, are in top gear at the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
During the one-day visit, the Minister is expected to hold key bilateral meetings focused on arrangements for the 2026 Hajj.
Preparations gained momentum following the arrival of the Saudi advance team in Abuja, led by Abdulmohsen Al‑Salem, Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, which engaged NAHCON officials on quota allocations, visa processing, and airlift arrangements for Nigerian pilgrims.
Senior NAHCON officials are set to formally receive the Minister and his delegation upon arrival.
The high-level engagement underscores Nigeria’s strong collaboration with Saudi Arabia to ensure a smooth, compliant, and well-coordinated Hajj exercise in 2026.
