The Bauchi State Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced the publication of the names of intending pilgrims and their respective flight schedules as part of preparations for the 2026 Hajj exercise.

The development marks a significant step in the Board’s operational timeline, aimed at ensuring early access to critical travel information and facilitating a smooth coordination process for the annual pilgrimage.

Officials said releasing the names and flight details will enable pilgrims to confirm their travel status, make necessary personal arrangements, and resolve any discrepancies ahead of departure.

They added that the move will reduce last-minute challenges and improve overall efficiency in the airlift process.

The Board noted that the phased publication would allow for better crowd management and streamlined communication, while urging pilgrims to stay updated through official channels for any changes or additional information.

The Bauchi State Pilgrims Welfare Board will commence the airlift of pilgrims in May this year, in line with the national Hajj timetable.

Authorities said they are putting all necessary logistics in place to ensure a hitch-free operation.

They urged pilgrims to adhere strictly to the Board’s guidelines and timelines as preparations intensify for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
