The Acting Director General (DG) of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Yusuf Muktar, has called on staff of the Board and Local Government Hajj Centre Officers to close ranks and provide full support to the interim leadership in order to deliver on the Board’s mandate.
Alhaji Muktar, who also serves as the Director of Administration and General Services, made the call during a special stakeholders’ meeting held at the Board’s Conference Hall in Kano.
According to a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Board, Comrade Sulaiman Dederi, the meeting brought together management staff and Local Government Hajj Centre Officers to align priorities and reinforce operational cohesion.
He stressed that unity, cooperation, and shared ownership of responsibilities are non-negotiable if the Board is to achieve its set objectives, particularly in ensuring efficient and effective welfare services for pilgrims.
The acting DG added that teamwork and dedication remain critical success factors for smooth Hajj operations, urging all personnel to remain professional, committed, and collaborative in the discharge of their duties for the benefit of intending pilgrims in Kano State.
The session also served as a strategic engagement platform, allowing participants to openly discuss operational challenges, exchange ideas, and propose practical solutions aimed at improving service delivery and strengthening coordination across all levels of Hajj administration.
The meeting ended with a consensus on the need for sustained collaboration and proactive engagement to ensure successful Hajj operations under the interim leadership of the Board.
