2027 Hajj: Bauchi Intensifies Early Registration Campaign, Takes Awareness Drive to Toro

A public awareness team on the registration for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage, led by the Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris, has visited the Toro Local Government Area as part of efforts to encourage early registration for the pilgrimage.
The visit was aimed at sensitising members of the public to the importance of registering early for the 2027 Hajj, while also educating prospective pilgrims on the key guidelines, requirements and procedures for the pilgrimage.
During the visit, the delegation held a meeting with prominent Islamic scholars, community leaders and representatives from different parts of Toro Local Government Area. Discussions focused on the importance of early registration to ensure smooth planning and effective organisation of the Hajj exercise.
The awareness team also paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Toro, Alhaji Umar Toro. Speaking during the visit, the Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris, urged residents of the area to seize the opportunity by registering early for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage.
In his remarks, the Emir of Toro, Alhaji Umar Toro, commended the Bauchi State Government and the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board for organising the sensitisation campaign. He also encouraged people across the emirate to embrace the initiative by registering early and complying with all the stipulated guidelines to ensure a successful 2027 Hajj pilgrimage.
