2026 Hajj: NAHCON Sets February 8 Deadline for Pilgrims’ Data Capturing

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has set February 8, 2026, as the deadline for pilgrims’ passport data capturing.
The directive was contained a circular address to state pilgrims welfare boards, agency and commission nationwide.
The circular addressed Executive Chairmen, Secretaries, and Directors of all state pilgrims agencies and commissions.
The circular was signed by Ibrahim Mahmud on behalf of NAHCON’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
He explained that the deadline aligns with guidelines issued by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj.
The Commission stated that Saudi authorities require full completion of pilgrims’ data within the stipulated timeframe.
NAHCON urged state pilgrims boards to intensify efforts and complete data capturing without delay.
The Commission warned that strict compliance remains critical to effective planning and smooth Hajj operations.
NAHCON said early completion will reduce operational bottlenecks and strengthen coordination with Saudi authorities.
