UAE to Open 2027 Hajj Registration September 14

The United Arab Emirates has fixed September 14 to September 25, 2026, for Emirati citizens to register for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage.
The General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat announced the registration timetable as part of preparations for the next Hajj season, with eligible citizens expected to submit their applications through the authority’s smart application or official website.
Registration will open on September 14 and close on September 25, giving intending pilgrims 12 days to complete the process.
The authority said applicants would undergo an automated screening process in line with UAE Cabinet Resolution No. 32 of 2018 and other approved selection criteria.
It expects to complete the screening by October 9, 2026, when it will announce the names of successful applicants.
Authorities will subsequently contact selected pilgrims to guide them through the remaining procedures required for the pilgrimage.
The authority said it had begun implementing its approved timetable for 2027 Hajj, covering registration, selection and other operational preparations.

It also said it was developing services and arrangements aimed at improving the experience of Emirati pilgrims and enabling them to perform Hajj safely and comfortably.
The early registration and selection timeline gives the UAE authorities several months to complete administrative and logistical preparations before the 2027 pilgrimage.
The development comes as countries continue to establish their Hajj registration schedules and administrative procedures ahead of the 2027 season, following Saudi Arabia’s preparations for the international Hajj programme.
For Emirati citizens planning to perform Hajj next year, the September registration window represents the first major step in securing a place under the UAE’s approved pilgrimage arrangements.
The authority urged prospective pilgrims to follow the official registration channels and comply with the requirements governing the selection process.
