Pilgrims from Gombe State performing the 2026 Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia have expressed appreciation to the state governor, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, for providing special and high-quality meals at the Arafat plains.

The pilgrims described the intervention as a strategic welfare support that significantly enhanced their comfort during the spiritually intensive phase of the pilgrimage.

They noted that the gesture eased hardship and reinforced their focus on prayers and supplication at one of the most critical points of the Hajj rites.

Speaking from Arafat, several pilgrims offered prayers for the governor, asking Allah to reward him abundantly and continue to guide his leadership in service delivery and public welfare.

They also commended the Gombe State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board for effectively coordinating and seamlessly distributing the meals, ensuring adequate feeding for pilgrims throughout the exercise.

The Day of Arafat remains the pinnacle of the Hajj pilgrimage, drawing millions of Muslims in solemn worship, reflection, and supplication for divine mercy and forgiveness.
