Saudi Security Chief Inspects Pilgrimage Forces Ahead of Hajj 2026

The Director of Public Security and Head of the Hajj Security Committee, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Bassami, has inspected the operational readiness of security forces deployed for the 2026 Hajj season.
The inspection focused on ensuring maximum safety, effective crowd control, and the smooth movement of pilgrims across the holy sites during the pilgrimage period.
During the inspection, Brigadier General Al-Bassami reviewed the preparedness of various security units and emphasized the importance of coordination among agencies involved in Hajj operations.
He also stressed the need for vigilance and professionalism in serving pilgrims arriving from different parts of the world.
Saudi authorities have continued to intensify preparations ahead of the peak Hajj rites, with security agencies, emergency responders, and service providers working together to guarantee a safe and orderly pilgrimage experience.
