Pantami Mourns with Pakistan, Prays for Late Wife
Pantami, the former minister expresses condolences, urges prayers and patience for bereaved family

Former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy and Gombe State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the 2027 general election, Isa Ali Pantami, has expressed condolences over the death of the wife of former National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) Chairman, Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan.
Pantami described the development as a painful loss and joined the bereaved family in prayers, urging them to remain steadfast in faith during the period of mourning.
In his message, he prayed to Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant her eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus. He also asked God to strengthen the family and grant them patience to withstand the irreplaceable loss.
He emphasized that life and death are divine decrees, stressing the importance of acceptance, prayer, and mutual support in moments of grief. According to him, such situations require collective compassion from leaders, associates, and the wider community.
Pantami further noted that the legacy of the deceased should be honored through continued prayers and acts of kindness, adding that the family should be supported emotionally and spiritually as they navigate the difficult period.
He reaffirmed his solidarity with the family, calling for dignity and restraint in public discourse surrounding the bereavement, while urging continued remembrance of the deceased in prayers.
As part of broader condolences, he extended sympathy on behalf of associates and well-wishers, while encouraging the public to support the family through sustained prayers and moral encouragement.
The former minister concluded with prayers for divine mercy upon the deceased and fortitude for the family, noting that their strength in faith will be central to overcoming the loss.
