NAHCON Chairman Condoles Pakistan Over Wife’s Death, Deploys Delegation

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Amb. Ismail Abba Yusuf, has extended heartfelt condolences to the immediate past Chairman of the Commission, Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan, over the death of his wife, Hajiya Zainab Saleh Usman.
Yusuf, currently on official engagement, delegated a three-man NAHCON Board contingent to pay condolence visits to the bereaved family.
The delegation comprised Prof Musa Bin Fodio, Amb. Ahmed Sule, and Amb. Rabiu Lawal, who represented the Commission at the condolence visit.
The Chairman described the loss as deeply painful and prayed to Almighty Allah to comfort Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman and his family during this difficult period.
He said the Commission shares in the grief of the former Chairman and stands in solidarity with him in prayer, asking Allah (SWT) to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, widen and illuminate her grave, and admit her into Aljannatul Firdaus.
He further prayed that Allah grants the bereaved family patience, strength, and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
NAHCON also prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased, asking Allah to reward her good deeds and grant her Jannatul Firdaus.
Management of the Commission reiterated its commitment to supporting the former Chairman and his family during this period of mourning, emphasizing the importance of unity, compassion, and faith in times of loss.
It noted that such moments require collective empathy and sustained prayers for the deceased and her family.
The Commission reaffirmed its prayers for Allah’s mercy upon the late Hajiya Zainab Saleh Usman, asking for forgiveness of her shortcomings, expansion of her resting place, and admission into Aljannatul Firdaus.
While also praying for enduring peace, strength, and resilience for the entire family to navigate this irreparable and painful loss in accordance with Islamic teachings guidance principles.
