The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has announced that the return airlift of its pilgrims from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will commence on June 15, 2026.

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency,

Ibrahim Datti, disclosed this in a statement.

Chairman of the Agency, Malam Salihu Abubakar, disclosed this on Tuesday, stating that pilgrims would be transported back to Nigeria in the same order in which they arrived for the 2026 Hajj exercise.

According to him, pilgrims who arrived in Saudi Arabia on the first flight will be given priority on the first return flight, while subsequent groups will be airlifted according to their original travel schedules.

Abubakar stressed that the arrangement is designed to ensure an orderly and hitch-free return operation, adding that no pilgrim will be permitted to switch or select a different return flight outside the schedule approved by the Agency.

He urged all Kaduna pilgrims to cooperate with officials and strictly adhere to the return timetable to facilitate a smooth and successful journey back home.

The return airlift forms part of the nationwide operation to transport Nigerian pilgrims home following the completion of the 2026 Hajj rites in Saudi Arabia.
