Hajj 2026: Adamawa Advance Team Finalizes Makkah Arrangements for Pilgrims’ Arrival

The Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission has completed arrangements in Makkah ahead of the arrival of the state’s first batch of pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
An advance team deployed to Saudi Arabia by the Acting Executive Chairman of the Commission, Malam Abubakar Salihu, concluded preparations to ensure the smooth reception and accommodation of Adamawa pilgrims in Makkah.
The update was contained in a statement issued by the Command-and-Control Center, Adamawa House, Nozol AlRaabih Bilahdud, Makkah.
The team coordinated accommodation, room allocations, and other logistics to guarantee a seamless transition for the pilgrims as they begin their spiritual journey.
Before arriving in Makkah, the first batch of pilgrims will spend three days in Madinah visiting historic Islamic sites to enrich their spiritual experience.
The pilgrims will also spend several days in Makkah preparing for the commencement of the main Hajj rites.
Officials of the Commission said the advance team worked extensively to put all necessary arrangements in place to ensure the comfort and welfare of the pilgrims throughout their stay.
The Commission noted that the preparations reflect the commitment of the Acting Executive Chairman, Malam Abubakar Salihu, to providing a successful and fulfilling Hajj experience for Adamawa pilgrims.
