Breaking: Vice President Summons NAHCON Chairman, Board Members

Nigeria’s Vice President Sen. Kashim Shettima has summoned the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman, alongside all members of the Commission’s Board, for an urgent meeting.
The meeting, which was scheduled to hold on Wednesday, January 28, was disclosed by a NAHCON board member, Abba Jato, during an interview with an online radio station.
While the specific agenda of the high-level engagement has not been made public, the summons underscores increased executive oversight of NAHCON at a critical period in the build-up to forthcoming Hajj operations.
The development has triggered heightened stakeholder attention within the Hajj and Umrah ecosystem.
