Arafah Day: Tour Operators Congratulate Nigerian Pilgrims, Urge Prayers for Peace, Security

The Hajj and Umrah Tour Operators Association of Nigeria (HUTOAN) has extended Arafah Day greetings to its members performing the 2026 Hajj, urging pilgrims to maximise the spiritual significance of the sacred day through prayers, repentance, unity and renewed devotion to Allah.
In a goodwill message issued on Tuesday at the plains of Arafat, the association described the Day of Arafah as “the day of forgiveness, mercy and freedom,” while praying for the acceptance of the pilgrims’ acts of worship and a successful Hajj exercise.
HUTOAN encouraged its members to engage in abundant supplications for themselves, their families and the Muslim Ummah, stressing the importance of sincerity, piety and brotherhood during the pilgrimage.
The association also urged pilgrims to renew their commitment to Allah, seek His pleasure and strengthen unity among fellow Muslims throughout the Hajj rites.
As part of the message, the association called on Nigerian pilgrims to pray for peace, progress and national unity, noting that the country requires collective prayers amid current socio-economic and security challenges.
“O Allah, accept our Hajj, forgive our sins, ease our affairs and grant us Hajj Mabruur,” the association prayed.
HUTOAN further wished all its members success at the plains of Arafat as pilgrims joined millions of Muslims worldwide in observing one of the most spiritually significant moments of the annual pilgrimage.
