The Edo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has intensified the upload of intending pilgrims’ data to the Saudi and the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria’s (NAHCON) NUSUK portal.

The process according to the board, is part of early preparations for the 2026 Hajj exercise.

The ongoing data capture is strategically positioned to fast-track visa processing and eliminate administrative bottlenecks for pilgrims from the state ahead of travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Chairman of the Board, Mallam Musa Muhammad Uduimoh, said the proactive and sustained upload of pilgrims’ information is designed to mitigate delays and avert last-minute complications traditionally associated with Hajj documentation.

According to him, the initiative also ensures strict adherence to operational guidelines issued by NAHCON and Saudi Arabian authorities, reinforcing Edo State’s commitment to regulatory compliance and efficiency.

On his part, the Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Eranga Abdulkabir Muhammadkabir, called on all registered intending pilgrims to cooperate fully by submitting accurate personal details and valid international passports to enable smooth processing on the NUSUK platform.

He explained that the NUSUK portal functions as a centralized digital system for pilgrims’ data management, visa issuance, and coordination of Hajj-related services.

The Board reiterated its readiness to deliver a seamless 2026 Hajj operation and advised intending pilgrims who have not completed their registration to do so without delay.
