2027 Hajj: “Pay N4m, Submit Passport Before September 26,” Kaduna Warns Pilgrims

The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has warned intending pilgrims to pay the required N4 million seat reservation deposit and submit their valid international passports on or before September 26, 2026, to secure their places for the 2027 Hajj.
The agency said the deadline applies to intending pilgrims who have registered or wish to participate in the 2027 pilgrimage, urging them to take advantage of the remaining period to complete the required registration processes.
In a statement issued by its Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Datti, the agency said intending pilgrims could either pay the N4 million initial deposit or the full approved Hajj fare of N7,672,822.
It also directed all intending pilgrims to submit their valid international passports and other required information to facilitate registration and other Hajj-related processes.
The agency advised intending pilgrims to visit any of its pilgrims’ offices across the 23 Local Government Areas of Kaduna State or its headquarters along Katsina Road, Kaduna, to complete their registration and documentation.
For pilgrims who pay the initial N4 million deposit, the agency set December 2, 2026, as the deadline for completing payment of the outstanding balance.
It warned that failure to meet the stipulated payment deadlines could lead to the loss of a pilgrim’s seat, recalling that some intending pilgrims lost their seats during the previous Hajj operation after failing to meet payment requirements.
The agency further cautioned intending pilgrims against making payments to individuals or depositing Hajj fares into personal bank accounts.
It stressed that all Hajj payments must be made through the official bank account of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency designated for Hajj operations.
The agency urged intending pilgrims to treat the September 26 deadline with utmost importance and complete their payments, passport submission and other registration requirements within the stipulated period to avoid inconvenience or loss of their seats.
