India Extends 2027 Hajj Payment Deadline to August 17

The Hajj Committee of India (HCI) has extended the deadline for selected pilgrims to deposit the advance Hajj amount for the 2027 pilgrimage to August 17, 2026.
The committee announced the extension in Circular No. 06, dated August 10, 2026, following requests from pilgrims and State Haj Committees.
The decision gives pilgrims additional time to complete payments and secure their participation in Hajj 2027.
Under the revised arrangement, all pilgrims who have not yet paid the advance amount must deposit ₹1,52,300 on or before August 17.
The committee warned that pilgrims who fail to meet the new deadline will have their Hajj seats cancelled without further notice.
The HCI also clarified that pilgrims who opted for the Short Hajj Package have been considered under the package and must pay the stipulated advance amount within the extended deadline.
Pilgrims can make payments through the HCI’s website or the Haj Suvidha App using credit cards, debit cards or net banking.

Alternatively, they can use the specified Pay-in-Slip to make payment at any branch of the State Bank of India or Union Bank of India into the Haj Committee of India account.
Pilgrims must use the Bank Reference Number assigned to their Cover Number when making the deposit.
The committee directed pilgrims to ensure that the Bank Reference Number provided for each Cover appears on the deposit receipt.
It said a separate circular would follow with details on submission of payment receipts, required documents and Hajj procedures.
The extension is expected to provide relief to pilgrims and State Haj Committees seeking more time to complete the financial requirements for Hajj 2027.
The Haj Committee of India urged all pilgrims to treat August 17 as the final deadline and complete payments promptly to avoid losing their Hajj seats.
