The Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has completed the distribution of luggage and personal belongings transported from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to pilgrims who participated in the 2026 Hajj exercise.

The Chairman of the Security Committee, Alhaji Abubakar Magaji (Labaran Arab), announced the completion of the exercise on Monday, June 22, 2026.

Speaking during the conclusion of the distribution process, Magaji said the board successfully delivered all items brought back by pilgrims from Saudi Arabia, marking another important milestone in the post-Hajj operations for the state.

He noted that the smooth completion of the exercise reflected the commitment and dedication of the board’s staff and various committees that worked tirelessly to ensure that pilgrims received their belongings without unnecessary delays.

Magaji expressed appreciation to members of staff of the Pilgrims Welfare Board and all committees involved in the operation for their support, cooperation, and contributions throughout the exercise.

According to him, the collective efforts of the personnel helped facilitate an orderly and efficient distribution process, ensuring that the returning pilgrims were adequately served.

The acting chairman also urged staff members to remain prepared for future assignments and activities of the board.

He informed them that they would receive appropriate invitations whenever the board organizes its forthcoming appreciation gathering and related events.

The completion of the luggage distribution exercise effectively brings to a close another phase of the 2026 Hajj operations in Kebbi State, following the successful return of pilgrims from the holy pilgrimage.

The Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Board has continued to coordinate activities aimed at ensuring the welfare of pilgrims before, during, and after the Hajj exercise.

The board reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining high standards in service delivery and improving operational efficiency in future Hajj exercises.
