The Director-General (DG) of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, has conducted an inspection of accommodation facilities designated for pilgrims from Kano State in Makkah as part of early preparations for the 2026 Hajj exercise.

The inspection forms part of the board’s efforts to ensure that all logistical and welfare arrangements are firmly in place ahead of the annual pilgrimage.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the board, Sulaiman Dederi.

During the visit, Matawalle assessed the condition of the accommodation facilities, their proximity to the Masjid al-Haram, and the availability of essential services required to support pilgrims throughout their stay in the holy city.
