Saudi authorities have released an official report detailing operations and service delivery during the 2026 Ramadan Umrah season, highlighting the arrival of over 1.68 million international pilgrims.
In a statement, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said the figures reflect sustained global demand for Umrah during the holy month, supported by expanded digital systems and on-ground service infrastructure.
According to the report, prayer reservations at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah within the Prophet’s Mosque exceeded 1.1 million, with pilgrims from 155 nationalities securing access through an electronic booking platform.
To enhance pilgrim experience, 30 Nusuk Care centres operating across Makkah, Madinah, and Jeddah delivered more than 153,000 services in 11 languages. The services included guidance, field support, and direct assistance tailored to the diverse needs of pilgrims.
The Ministry further disclosed that the Pilgrim Care Centre (1966) processed over 19,700 reports and inquiries during Ramadan, achieving a resolution rate of more than 93.3 percent, underscoring improved responsiveness to pilgrim concerns.

As part of quality assurance measures, inspection teams conducted more than 21,500 field inspections across accommodation facilities and service providers, ensuring compliance with established standards and contributing to improved service delivery.
The report underscores Saudi Arabia’s continued investment in technology-driven pilgrimage management and its commitment to maintaining service quality amid rising global participation in Umrah, particularly during peak periods such as Ramadan.
