Saudi Arabia authorities on Friday declared the 2026 Hajj exercise successful, citing high-level security coordination, efficient service delivery, and smooth management of operations across the holy sites.

Prince Saud bin Mishaal, Deputy Emir of Makkah Region and Vice Chairman of the Permanent Hajj and Umrah Committee, made the announcement in a televised address at the conclusion of the annual pilgrimage.

“I am pleased to announce the success of this year’s Hajj, a success marked by security, organized operations, and the complete delivery of services and support,” Prince Saud said.

He stated that pilgrims performed their religious rites in safety, peace, and comfort, while receiving services that reflected the significance of the Hajj and the sanctity of the holy sites.

According to him, the successful completion of the pilgrimage demonstrated Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to serving guests of Allah through coordinated planning, strong leadership, and round-the-clock dedication by workers and officials involved in Hajj operations.

Prince Saud described the season as “the story of a nation that fulfills its promises, excels in its work, and serves with sincerity,” adding that the holy sites became a model of order and harmony throughout the pilgrimage period.

He further noted that the Kingdom’s leadership considers serving pilgrims a great honor and places the welfare and care of pilgrims at the center of Hajj preparations and operations.

The deputy emir stressed that the successful completion of the Hajj season would further strengthen efforts to improve services for future pilgrimages.

“The success of Hajj is not the end of the journey, but the beginning of a new responsibility and a pledge renewed every year that this nation will remain a beacon of security and generosity, and a destination of service and loyalty,” he added.
