Ramadan Umrah: Kebbi Pilgrims Return Home as State Records Operational Success

Some Nigerians Pilgrims who travelled through Kebbi State and participated in the 2026 Ramadan Umrah have safely returned home, arriving at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport on Saturday evening.
The returnees, who had earlier completed their Umrah rites during Ramadan under the supervision of the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Board, landed at approximately 6:57 p.m., marking the second day after the conclusion of the fasting period.
The development has been described as a milestone in the state’s Hajj and Umrah operations, under the administration of Nasir Idris. Officials attributed the success to improved coordination and leadership within the state’s pilgrims management framework.

Speaking on the development, the Executive Chairman of the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Faruku Jabbo, expressed gratitude for the smooth conduct of the exercise.
He commended the pilgrims for their discipline and exemplary conduct throughout their stay in Saudi Arabia, describing them as worthy ambassadors of the state.
The successful return is seen as reinforcing the state government’s commitment to efficient pilgrimage administration and improved service delivery in religious travel operations.
