Masari Leads Tinubu’s Delegation to Condole Pakistan Over Wife’s Death

A high-powered delegation led by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties, Ibrahim Kabir Masari, has conveyed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s condolences to the former Cahirman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Professor Abdullahi Sale Pakistan following the death of his wife.
The delegation visited the bereaved family in Kano on behalf of the President to sympathize with them and express the Federal Government’s solidarity during the period of mourning.
Other members of the delegation included the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Muttaqha Rabe Darma; the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education, Dr. Muhammad Sani Idris; and the National Coordinator of the National NEPAD Office, Malam Jabiri Salisu Abdullahi.

Speaking during the visit, Masari said President Tinubu personally directed the delegation to deliver his condolences to Professor Pakistan, his family and the people of Kano State over the loss.
He described the death as a painful tragedy and assured the family that the President shares in their grief.
Masari also conveyed President Tinubu’s prayers for Allah to forgive the deceased, grant her eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdausi and provide her family with the strength and patience to bear the loss.
According to him, the President remains committed to identifying with citizens during moments of sorrow and hardship, stressing the importance of compassion and solidarity in strengthening national unity.
The condolence visit attracted prominent Islamic scholars, traditional rulers, community leaders and other dignitaries, who gathered to offer prayers for the deceased and support the bereaved family.
Special prayers were also offered for peace, stability and continued progress in Nigeria.
The gathering highlighted the widespread respect enjoyed by Professor Pakistan and reflected the collective sympathy of leaders and citizens alike over the loss.
Participants prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the deceased and for enduring peace, unity and development across the country.
