Kebbi Pilgrims Receive Up to SR600 in Sallah Gifts, Donations During 2026 Hajj

Pilgrims from Kebbi State participating in the 2026 Hajj have received various cash donations and Sallah gifts from the state government and prominent stakeholders, with some pilgrims receiving up to 600 Saudi Riyals.
The announcement was made during an address to the pilgrims in Saudi Arabia, where the Executive Chairman, Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Faruk Yaro Enabo disclosed that the state government had fully covered the cost of Hadayafor all pilgrims from the state.
According to the breakdown, each pilgrim is entitled to a basic package of 500 Saudi Riyals through contributions from the state government and other officials.
The package includes a 200 Riyals Sallah gift approved by the state government, while the wife of the governor, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir and Dr. Nafisa Nasir donated 50 Riyals each to every pilgrim.
Two chairmen also contributed 50 Riyals each, while the Commissioner for Finance donated 20 Riyals per pilgrim. Garba Muhammad Bena contributed 30 Riyals, while the Chairman of the pilgrims’ agency, Enabo, donated 50 Riyals to all pilgrims.
Additional donations were announced for pilgrims from specific Local Government Areas (LGAs).
Pilgrims from Yauri, Shanga, Ngaski, Kamba and Bagudo LGAs are expected to receive the highest total package of 600 Riyals each following separate donations of 100 Riyals by individual stakeholders.
Pilgrims from Birnin Kebbi, Arewa and Koko/Besse LGAs will receive 550 Riyals each, while those from Suru LGA are expected to receive 560 Riyals after additional contributions from community leaders.
Similarly, pilgrims from Dandi and Jega LGAs will receive a total of 530 Riyals each. Enabo assured that the distribution of the funds would commence immediately.
