How Pilgrims Can Access Digital Nusuk Card for 2026 Hajj

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has provided a clear framework for pilgrims to access the digital Nusuk card, a mandatory identification credential for the 1447 AH (2026) Hajj exercise.
According to official guidance, pilgrims can obtain the digital card through the Nusuk App, which serves as the primary platform for Hajj services. After downloading and logging into the application, users will find the Nusuk card displayed at the top of the interface. By selecting the card, pilgrims can view full details, including personal information and a scannable QR code used for verification at key locations across the holy sites.
In addition, the card is accessible via the Tawakkalna App, offering an alternative channel for pilgrims already registered on the platform.
For further support and onboarding, the Ministry directed users to its official portal, https://haj.gov.sa, where comprehensive information on Hajj procedures and digital services is available. Dedicated helplines—1966 (within Saudi Arabia) and +966 920002814 (for international callers)—have also been activated to assist pilgrims facing technical challenges.
The digital Nusuk card is designed to streamline identification, enhance security coordination, and facilitate access to essential services throughout the pilgrimage. However, authorities issued a critical reminder: pilgrims should always carry their physical Nusuk card while in the Holy Land, as it remains an important backup for verification where required.
For Nigerian pilgrims, Hajj officials and tour operators are encouraging early familiarisation with the digital process to ensure smooth movement and avoid delays during screening and service access in Saudi Arabia.
The rollout reflects Saudi Arabia’s broader strategy to digitise Hajj operations, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall pilgrimage experience for millions of participants worldwide.
