The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has directed all intending pilgrims scheduled for the first outbound Hajj flight on May 14, to report at the Hajj Camp in Mando, on Wednesday, May 13, by 10:00 am prompt.

The directive is part of final-stage operational alignment ahead of the commencement of airlifting activities for the 2026 Hajj exercise.

According to the Agency’s Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Datti, the early assembly is strategically designed to streamline verification processes, enhance documentation accuracy.

It is also aimed at ensuring a seamless logistical coordination before departure to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Agency stressed that punctual compliance by all affected pilgrims is non-negotiable, noting that strict adherence to the reporting timeline will facilitate efficient processing and reduce operational bottlenecks that could disrupt the planned schedule.

The Agency further explained that the assembly will provide an opportunity for final screening, distribution of travel materials, and confirmation of flight documentation, in line with established Hajj operational protocols.

Pilgrims are also expected to undergo briefings on travel procedures, conduct expectations, and health-related guidelines before departure.

Datti reiterated that the success of the inaugural flight depends significantly on the cooperation of pilgrims and timely compliance with instructions issued by relevant authorities.

Any delay or failure to report as scheduled, the Agency warned, could result in administrative setbacks or reallocation in line with operational requirements.

The Agency urged the affected pilgrims to treat the directive with utmost seriousness and ensure full compliance with all preparatory instructions ahead of departure.
