The Gombe State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has opened Hadaya payment for intending pilgrims participating in the 2027 Hajj, directing them to deposit approximately N258,000.
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Malam Sa’adu Hassan, disclosed this in an interview with Hajj Gazette, explaining that the amount represents the rate charged during the 2026 Hajj exercise.
Hassan directed intending pilgrims to make their deposits through Taj Bank and submit their payment tellers to the Board for verification and other necessary processing.
He said the Board had completed its preparations for the 2027 Hajj and was awaiting further instructions from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
“Gombe has concluded all preparations and is now waiting for further instructions from NAHCON. We have also opened the Hadaya payment.

“All pilgrims are advised to make their deposits for Hadaya payment at Taj Bank. For now, our pilgrims are to pay N288,000, which was last year’s amount.
“They are to bring the payment teller to the Board for verification and other processing,” he said.
The announcement provides intending pilgrims with an opportunity to commence their Hadaya payment ahead of the 2027 pilgrimage.
The Board is expected to communicate further operational guidelines as it receives additional directives from NAHCON.
