Pilgrims from Gombe State participating in the 2026 Hajj have expressed joy and appreciation following the distribution of a 200 Saudi Riyals Eid-el-Kabir gift donated by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.

 

The Governor approved the donation as a Sallah package for all 961 pilgrims from the state currently performing the pilgrimage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

Chairman and the Executive secretary of the Gombe State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, supervised the distribution of the funds in Saudi Arabia.

 

The development draw excitement and gratitude from beneficiaries. Several pilgrims described the gesture as timely and thoughtful.

 

They noted that the financial support would help ease some of their expenses and enhance their comfort as the Hajj exercise rounds up.

 

The pilgrims commended Governor Yahaya for his continued concern for the welfare of Gombe citizens and his commitment to supporting pilgrims throughout their spiritual journey.

 

The beneficiaries also offered prayers for the Governor, asking Almighty Allah to grant him good health, wisdom, protection, and continued success in the service of the people of Gombe State.

 

The donation forms part of the state government’s efforts to support its pilgrims and ensure their well-being while fulfilling one of the fundamental pillars of Islam.
