Gombe Airport Announces Schedule for Return of 2026 Hajj Pilgrims

The management of Gombe International Airport has announced that the return phase of the 2026 Hajj airlift operation for pilgrims from Gombe State will commence on June 6 and 7, 2026.
In a statement issued by the airport management, the public, particularly families, friends, and well-wishers of the pilgrims, was informed that inbound flights conveying pilgrims from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia back to Nigeria are scheduled to arrive on the designated dates.
The airport management urged members of the public to take note of the flight schedule and cooperate with airport authorities and relevant agencies to facilitate smooth and orderly reception activities during the pilgrims’ arrival.
According to the statement, necessary arrangements have been put in place to ensure efficient handling of passengers and airport operations throughout the Hajj return exercise.
The management also expressed appreciation to stakeholders for their understanding and support, reaffirming its commitment to maintaining safe, efficient, and seamless airport operations during the period.
The return flights mark the beginning of the final phase of the 2026 Hajj exercise for pilgrims from Gombe State, following the completion of the annual Islamic pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.
