Citizens to Pay N2.39m as Saudi Launches 2026 Hajj Packages

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has officially launched its 2026 Hajj packages for citizens and residents of the Kingdom, with the most premium package priced at SR 12,537 (approximately N2.39 million).
According to the ministry, bookings are now open through the Nusuk app and the ministry’s online portal.
The initiative prioritizes first-time pilgrims, aiming to expand access and streamline the pilgrimage process.
Pilgrims must complete the mandatory meningitis vaccination, with appointments available via the Sehhaty app.
Through Nusuk, users can browse and book packages, purchase essential Hajj items such as ihram clothing, and even arrange flights, all in a single digital platform.
Reacting to the development, Arif Anwar, a resident of Alkhobar, welcomed the launch, saying “It is now easier for families and first-time pilgrims to plan Hajj.
Priority for first-timers ensures more Muslims can fulfil this key pillar of Islam,” he said.
Abdulrahman Qahtani, another resident from Jeddah noted that the platform simplifies compliance with the ministry’s requirements, making the pilgrimage more accessible.
The pricing for domestic Hajj packages varies according to accommodation and services required.
According to the ministry, Al-Diyafah Camp in Mina (shared accommodation) will cost SR 8,092 (N1.55 million). Upgraded Mina Camp SR 10,366 (N1.98 million), Six Towers near Jamarat Bridge, SR 13,150 (2.51 million) and Kidana Al-Wadi Towers (luxury accommodation with modern facilities) will cost SR 12,537 (N2.39 million).
The packages according to officials, cover accommodation, meals, and in some cases, flights, offering options for a range of budgets while ensuring a comfortable pilgrimage experience.
The Nusuk portal forms part of Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation of Hajj services, providing pilgrims a seamless, end-to-end digital companion.
The authorities disclosed that as part of the eligibility requirements, an intending pilgrim must be at least 15 years old.
