Borno Hajj Commission Disowns Viral 2026 Flight Schedule

The Borno State Hajj Commission has distanced itself from a viral 2026 Hajj flight schedule circulating on social media, urging intending pilgrims and the general public to disregard the unofficial document.
In a public notice issued by the Commission, authorities acknowledged that the information contained in the schedule appeared to be accurate but clarified that it did not originate from the Commission.
The Commission stressed that it neither approved nor released the purported timetable through its authorized communication channels.
It therefore appealed to intending pilgrims to remain calm and exercise patience as arrangements for the 2026 Hajj operation continue.
According to the statement, the Commission is currently working with relevant authorities to finalize and release the authentic departure schedule for Borno pilgrims participating in this year’s pilgrimage.
The Commission also thanked the public for its cooperation and understanding, assuring that official updates would be communicated in due course.
