Hajj Gazette Editor Mungadi Emerges as NUJ Gombe’s Best Correspondent of 2025

The editor of Hajj Gazette, Abdulrazaq Auwal Mungadi, has been honoured as the “Best Correspondent of the Year 2025” by the Gombe State Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ).
The award was presented during the NUJ Dinner and Awards Night 2025, an annual event that recognises outstanding contributions to journalism and media practice in the state.
In his reaction, Mungadi expressed appreciation to the council for the recognition, describing it as a reflection of professionalism, dedication, and adherence to ethical journalism standards.
“I extend sincere appreciation to the Gombe State Council of NUJ for the conferment of the ‘Best Correspondent of the Year 2025’ award,” he said.
He noted that the honour underscores a collective commitment to credible reporting and public interest journalism, adding that it serves as motivation to scale up impact and responsibility in the profession.
