2026 Hajj: Niger Announces First Flight, Urges Pilgrims to Report at Camp

The Niger State Pilgrims’ Welfare Board has scheduled the first flight conveying intending pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 2026 Hajj exercise to depart on Monday, 11th May, 2026.
According to the Board, the inaugural flight, with a capacity of 345 pilgrims, will airlift selected participants from Chanchaga and Borgu Local Government Areas of the state.
Sheikh Muhammad Awwal Aliyu, Executive Secretary of the Board, disclosed this in a statement.
The Board directed all intending pilgrims to report to the Minna Hajj Camp on Sunday evening for early medical screening and the completion of mandatory security clearance procedures ahead of the scheduled departure.
The Board emphasized strict compliance with the E-Nusuk grouping system, noting that it does not permit changes in flight allocations. It warned that any pilgrim who fails to report for the assigned flight will automatically forfeit their 2026 Hajj seat.
