By Abdulrazaq Auwal
Nasarawa, Jigawa, Gombe and Kogi States have completed the airlift of all their registered pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj exercise, according to the Hajj Gazette 2026 Hajj Tracker.
Data from the tracker shows that Kogi State airlifted a total of 473 pilgrims, Nasarawa accounted for 1,541 pilgrims, Jigawa transported 874 pilgrims, while Gombe completed the airlift of 961 pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The update indicates that the four states have finalized their outbound operations, positioning them among the early movers in the nationwide airlift schedule for this year’s pilgrimage.
Further data from the tracker indicates that the airlift of Nigerian pilgrims has remained smooth overall, with 6,012 pilgrims already transported out of the expected 39,273 registered under state quotas.
The tracker also shows that private tour operators are still finalizing arrangements and are expected to commence the airlift of their registered pilgrims in due course.
The Hajj Gazette 2026 Hajj Tracker, which provides real-time updates on Nigeria’s Hajj operations, continues to monitor state-by-state airlift progress, departures, and overall coordination of the exercise.
The completion of airlift operations by the four states reflects steady momentum in the 2026 Hajj exercise as more states advance toward concluding their pilgrim transportation arrangements.
