2026 Hajj: Kaduna Advance Team Arrives Makkah, Engages Muassasah Providers

The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has intensified preparations for the 2026 Hajj exercise as its advance team arrived in Makkah ahead of the arrival of pilgrims from the state.
The agency disclosed this in a statement issued by its Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Datti, who said the team moved from Madina to Makkah to coordinate key logistics and ensure smooth Hajj operations.
According to the statement, members of the advance team immediately commenced engagements with Muassasah service providers responsible for accommodation, feeding, transportation, and welfare services for Kaduna pilgrims in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The team also inspected designated accommodation facilities and reviewed operational arrangements aimed at guaranteeing comfort and efficient service delivery throughout the pilgrimage period.
Datti explained that the agency deployed the advance team early to strengthen coordination and address logistical issues before the arrival of the main contingent of pilgrims from Kaduna State.
He said the engagements with the service providers focused on improving the welfare and overall experience of pilgrims during their stay in the holy land.
“The team assessed accommodation facilities and discussed feeding, transportation, and welfare arrangements to ensure a seamless Hajj exercise for Kaduna pilgrims,” the statement noted.
The agency added that officials held strategic discussions with the providers on operational procedures and service standards expected during the pilgrimage.
It reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the welfare, safety, and comfort of all intending pilgrims from the state while ensuring successful participation in the 2026 Hajj exercise.
The Agency has continued to roll out preparations ahead of the pilgrimage, with officials expressing confidence in the arrangements already put in place for pilgrims from the state.
