2027 Hajj: Bauchi Executive Secretary Tasks Officers on Operational Readiness

The Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Imam Abdulrahman Idris Dujuman Bauchi, has tasked officers handling the 2027 Hajj operations with strengthening administrative coordination and ensuring timely completion of their assigned responsibilities ahead of the pilgrimage.
He gave the directive during a meeting with Desk Officers at the Board’s Conference Hall in Bauchi, where he emphasised the need for effective documentation, accountability and proper coordination among personnel involved in the preparations.
According to a statement issued by Mohammed Nasiru Bala, the Executive Secretary directed the officers to provide comprehensive records of e-passports collected, processed and forwarded to the Board’s ICT Unit.
He also instructed Desk Officers still holding passports in their custody to submit the outstanding documents to the Chief Administrative Officer, Alhaji Zaharaddeen Muhammad, without further delay.

Imam Abdulrahman stressed that timely submission of required documents and proper record-keeping were essential to ensuring effective coordination and smooth implementation of the 2027 Hajj operations.
He noted the importance of cooperation among the officers in carrying out their respective assignments, particularly as preparations for the forthcoming pilgrimage continue.
The Executive Secretary commended the Desk Officers for their dedication, cooperation and commitment to their responsibilities, acknowledging their contributions to the Board’s preparations for the 2027 Hajj.
He urged them to sustain their commitment, maintain discipline in handling official assignments and work collectively towards achieving a hitch-free pilgrimage exercise.
